    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,

    Shooting pain across back

    JDinSRQ posted:
For about two weeks now I have been having a shooting pain across my back at the level of my bra back.

Not everyday but about 10 out of the last 14 days.
    Sometimes 2-4 times a day.

And sometimes it feels like it wraps around to the front.
The pain lasts for just a few seconds.
    Does this sound heart-related?

There is no way for any of us over an internet message board to diagnose you. You must see your doctor for evaluation and treatment.

You really need to see your family doctor about this!!! If you are worried it could be heart related, don't you think you should see your doctor?

It could be nothing, it could be something? Best bet? Go see your doctor!!!

    Good luck!!!
