Hello,

My wife had breast augmentation surgery on Tuesday morning. Everything has gone well with little pain at the surgical site. On Saturday she straightened her arm and felt excruciatingly sharp pain in her left forearm. This was the arm they used for the IV in the hospital.
She's been on percocet and valium since Friday.
She's taken small doses of Ibuprofen (200 mg twice).
She's still on her antibiotic
She started taking a stool softener on Thursday morning

Can anyone tell us what may be causing this sharp pain. It stops when she bends her elbow again. When they put the IV in at the hospital, I remembering her wincing, but the pain didn't last.

Any ideas
