    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,

sounds like a question for you to ask your prescribing MD.

why do you do the injections? do they help you? just curious as to what this is all about.
    David Maine, MD responded:
Wish I could help you with this one but need more information to offer any advice. Why do you perform these injections? Do you see a physician for this?

Is there a way to contact u directly? Please, u sound so informed and caring. I need someone to really help me with my pain management.
    Caprice_WebMD_Staff replied to catzzzz's response:
    Hi Catzzzz,

Dr. Maine is well-informed and caring; you're right.

Our experts talk with our members here on the boards rather than private communication.

If you have questions for Dr. Maine - understanding he cannot diagnose or treat you directly - please start a new discussion on the board.

To do that, hold your cursor over the orange Post Now button and choose 'Discussion' from the drop down menu which appears. Fill in the subject line and body of the message (you don't have to use the poll part if you don't want) and Submit.
