Any suggestions for severe sinus pain? Sometimes unsure if it is sinus related or migraine.

Hi seanrad,

Have you ever had a sinus infection?

If you have, you'd probably recognize the symptoms.

If you haven't, if the discomforts continue for another day or so, you may need to be seen by your MD, or a walk-in center.

Meanwhile, Tylenol, Advil, sudafed (if you have high blood pressure, do NOT take sudafed), saline nose spray,

Regarding Afrin, mor other nose sprays/ drops- these should be used with caution. If used for more than two-or-three days, you may get something called rebound congestion, so these products should be used with judicious caution.

If you do suffer from regular headaches with other symptoms of migraine, the sooner you get medical care, the sooner you'll get relief.
