help for picking up objects!

Don't know if anyone else has posted this, but I found GREAT help with picking up socks, clothes, etc. I purchased a $12 pooper-scooper at walmart and it works beautifully! The serrated edges grip anything well! Keep one inside for socks, shoes, anything you drop! Outside, pick up newspaper, sticks, trash, etc. My lower back pain keeps me from bending, but these work great!

I have a grabber in every room of our house. Bending causes too much pain. I can do it, but really hate to. My bender has been broken for years.

Most of the pharmacies sell grabbers that are made just for this purpose. My local pharmacy has a couple different ones in stock. Probably cheaper that a pooper scooper.

I'm in a wheelchair so grabbers are things that are marketed directly at us. They all have Pro's and Con's to them nobody has gotten together and made one that is the "Ultimate", But i will say buying them at local stores wether it be Pharmacies or Medical Supply stores they "soak" your wallet you can buy every make and model you can think of on Amazon starting at .99 and going up from there and if you aren't a normal online shopper at Amazon if you purchase $25.00 of merchandise the shipping is free so when you need so stuff around the house order it from Amazon it will cost you less and you can buy a couple of different grabbers looking for your "favorite" version of grabber.

Peace

I found the best grabber for our purposes at Home Depot. It is all metal and works fine. It was cheap too.

Take care, Annette
