Pain in my Bones

I have had pain that radiates through all my bones, as in ankles, knees, wrists, elbows, spine and sternum. It has come and gone for a few years now, but this time, it is severe. I went to the doctor and am currently waiting on results from bloodwork. Any suggestions as to what it may be or what I can do for the pain? The naproxen prescribed to me is not helping at all.
