To BrenBen, Annette, Charl42, and all who are mothers - I hope you have a wonderful day today!
We will be continuing an annual tradition by going with my wife's parents to a local hot dog place (Ted') for foot longs and then to a local ice cream shop (Uncle G's) where they give mother's free sundaes today. Its a bit nippy in WNY with a current temp of 35 degrees only going to the upper 40's, so we will probably eat our ice cream in the van with the heater going.

I haven't been on the computer much at all lately consequently the lateness of my response.Thank you so much for your wish for a Happy Mother's Day.
It was a good day. We didn't do a lot of celebrating, but we did try and go to dinner Saturday night. Well, we successed in going out but the trip there and back sitting was very uncomfortable. I recieved a silver bracelet from my husband and I heard from all four girls on Sunday. I was able to go and visit my mother and have a nice long visit as well.
It is nice some people carry on family traditions, no matter how big or small. All family members cherish those memories.Sorry for the dip in the weather though. It's never too cold for ice cream! :)
