Leg Muscle Pain

Hello, I am 38 years old and I have been having pain in the thighs of both of my legs for about a year now. My doctor isn't sure what it is. The muscles in my thighs feel like they have a million pins sticking in them and then later it feels like every strand of my muscle is being ripped apart like a guitar string and is extremely painful. I have woke up screaming in pain at night. Can anyone give me an idea of what this might be?

Just wanted you are not alone. For over a yr. I would literally cry from the same symptoms. I am a 48 yr old male.

I can only tell you my experience. In 2007 I was diagnosed with MS. NOT suggesting this is your dilema. I will say for me, no sleep meant more pain, more pain meant less sleep.

I would suggest you follow a physicians suggestion and pursue the pain relief you deserve. keep this community posted LOL. good luck. PS-sometimes a second opinion is warented.
