We are so glad that you are here to be a part of the community! The abbreviations are definitely not easy to pick up on at first, but you will quickly be using them with no problem. Here is a cheat sheet for most of the pregnancy/parenting abbreviations!

We actually have had a few milestones! My DH is learning to put words together. She'll say things like Mommie milk, daddy come on, etc. I am so very proud of her. We bought her some flash cards and she says about 30 of them and can count to 10 (but starts at the number 2). I am so very proud of how fast she catches on, and explores new things daily; now if we can only get rid of her paci!

My SIL (sister in law) is actually looking into the IUI procedure. She is 39 and has been trying to conceive since she married my brother (a little over a year ago) but they havent been using any birth control for the last 8 years or so. Apparently the women in her family have trouble conceiving/conceive really "late" in age. It's nice to hear success stories though! especially on the first try!

We went to see a fertility specialist and he put us on Clomid, ran tests on both of us and everything came back normal but still no baby. We did the IUI and it worked the very first time! We are looking to try again this year so if the "old fashion way" doesn't work, we'll know our options.
