    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

MY ONE YEAR OLD HAD STREP THROAT ON MONDAY AND I TOOK HIM TO DOC AND SHE GAVE ME AN ANTIBIOTIC. I AM WORRIED BECAUSE HE IS BEING EXTREMELY FUSSY BUT THE PART THAT WORRIES ME THE MOST IS THAT EVERY TIME HE WAKES UP HE JUST STARTS CRYING REALLY BAD NOT A NORMAL CRY BUT ONE OF BEING IN PAIN, HE ALSO HAS VOMITED AND LOST A BIT OF WEIGHT. SHOULD I BE WORRIED??

    Hiya,

I hope by now your baby is feeling better. If not I would strongly recommend you calling your pediatrician and sharing your concerns and all the symptoms he is having.
Please let us know how he is doing.

I know sometimes Antibotics can make them very gasy. When my LO was one them he would all of sudden stop playing a cry in pain. The doc said it is gas built up you can try gas drops. But I would still call your doc cause of the vomitting. He might be allergic to the antibotic?
