Fever and Cough
roseballinger posted:
My daughter is 2YR and 7M, she has a cold and cough, so I gave her Children's Robitussin(doc. recommended) about an hour ago. Well now she is spiking a fever of 101.7. Am I able to give her some children's advil at a low dose? Iread the labels on both meds, and it doesn't say anything about do not use with other medication.

101.7 really isn't considered to be too high. Is the fever affecting her (is she acting lethargic, out of sorts, etc)? If no, then don't give her anything. If yes, then it's okay to giver her the Advil.
