    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

My 2 and a half year old daughter got really sick from an ear and sinus infection. She was also throwing up and had diarrhea. That same day she seemed to not have balance. its been almost 10 days now and all symptoms have gone away except she cannot walk by herself. She cannot keep her balance and sometimes she trembles her hands.

The doctors cheked her blood and did a CT scan and found nothing. We are waiting on the MRI results.

Meanwhile, a neurologists told us so far it looks like Cerebellum Ataxia and that it would go away in a few months. I am extremely worried all day about this. I am very scared and dont know what to do. My question is how common is this? and has anyone else gone through something similar?

    Thank you

    Hello and Welcome hino_1212,

While waiting for others to respond, I wanted to pop in and suggest posting to our expert, Dr. Benaroch, on our Parenting Community for possible response.

I can understand how scary this is for you, how is she doing this week? Any better?

    Please keep us posted,
    Elizabeth
