hello,

i have a son who will being turning 3 in July. He still does talk. He babbles. He does understand what i tell him though. He does say words like 'more', 'no more', 'what's that?', 'oh no'...but he would actually talk in sentence. is this normal?

i have a daughter and she will be 2 in July (they are 11 months apart) and she says more words then my son does.

I would have him evaluated. This is typically done by the school disctrict. Talk to your pediatrician if you need more information. My son talked later then my daughter and I had a conversation with our pedi about it. Every child is different. Never hurts to have him evaluated. You don't want him behind when it's time to start school. Good luck.
