My son was the same way

stayed at home with my boy for the first full year, so ofcourse he was closly bonded with me. he had no need for daddy. but when i went back to work, that had to change. i took maybe 2 weeks of just my husband strictly giving our son his "needs". dad took him out for "special father/son trips". and our boy has turned around. and still he and daddy take thier special outtings to keep that going. and yet mine and my sons relationship has never changed.
