    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

3 month old twins hate tummy time
    FrenchBulldogMom posted:
I've been trying to get my babies to lay on their stomachs since they were very tiny but they hate it. They both scream when I put them on their stomachs in their baby gym or other surface. They're both really strong and can hold their heads up and push up, so I don't understand why they hate it so much.

    Anybody else going through this?

Lots of babies hate tummy time. Some can only handle it for a few minutes or less others are okay with it. My son didn't mind it but a lot of my friends said their kiddos hated it. My son also started turning onto his side if we laid him on his back and then he started rolling over shortly after and then we couldn't keep him off of his belly. They will get used to it. You could try shorter times more often too,
