Voting Poll
im4shoes77 posted:
Since today is THE DAY I just wondered who is getting out there to vote?

Also do you pay attention to what the Polls say about who is winning?

If you do does that sway your vote?
steckie98 responded:
I did absentee voting last week. No lines to stand in then. I do not really pay attention to what is being said on election day. Just at the end!

DH & I took the kids and voted before dropping them off at daycare.

I never listen to anything about polls or election formt he news media- I agree with Jon Stewart about the need to restore sanity!!
jlc78 responded:
I'll be taking the kids with me this afternoon. I don't pay attention to the polls.
Me (32) DH (33) and our 2 beautiful babes DS (6/07) and DD (9/08)
im4shoes77 replied to jlc78's response:
I guess I could answer my own poll Huh?

Yes I will be voting this afternoon when my Mom comes to town.

I don't listen to polls, there are too many variables to consider them acurate.
ariannasmommy1125 replied to jlc78's response:
I will be taking DD with me after work. I don't pay too much attention to the polls, just the end results. They don't sway who I vote for.
Stephensmom1214 replied to ariannasmommy1125's response:
I don't pay attention until after the polls close. I voted after I dropped DS off at school, but I spent about an hour last night reading through all of the state questions (there are a LOT here!), and looking at all of the canditates, and wrote down all of my votes so I didn't have to spend as much time there!
Patty, DH, and Stephen the great (12/14/06)
sitnooc responded:
Yep, I will be voting, just not sure what time I will get to the polls! And I watch everything I can to see what they say but I don't let it sway my vote. I know ahead of time who I'm voting for and why.
Me(31) DH(35) DSD(16) DS(3) and much to our surprise, another one on the way May 24, 2011!
FarmWife1979 responded:
I'll be voting after work today, forgot about it until I was already out of town this morning.

No, I don't pay attention to the polls because it doesn't affect who I'm going to vote for, or against.

I am leaving shortly for an early lunch and will voting then. No I don't watch the polls, just the end results.

I am just happy to be done with all these ads and phone calls!!!!!!!1
luvmy2babiesmuch replied to curleysue1968's response:
My employeer gives us 30 minutes to go vote, but husband and I always go as a family after work, we pick up my mother, and take her to her voting place, then go to ours on the other side of town...We vote religeously, and always take the kids, and they will vote when they come of age- or they'll hav eto get out of my house.. it's a law in our house!!
Republican all the way !!! and yes, i watch the polls, but do go about my routines, i'm def. not glued to the TV.. please go vote... We need real change, not some liberals telling us to abandon God!! JMO!!
cinder44 responded:
I'm going to vote after I get home & get DH then we'll take turns going in to vote while the other stays in the car with the kids.

DOn't pay any attention the the Polls.

abbygailsmom1 responded:
We get 2 hours to vote here so I am taking it and going to vote.

I don't really watch the polls and will probably see who won tomorrow morning on the news. (They don't sway me one way or another either.)

I was listening to the tv last night (I was on FB) and heard 13 advertisements for people running for office in 4 minutes. I am so tried of it and would rather have the Viagra commercials on than listen to people try and sway me to vote for them. (Sorry they just irritate me!)
Me (30) DH (28) DD1 (5) DD2 (2) Baby boy Korbin expected via c-section early Jan 2011
DidiToo responded:
I'm planning to vote this evening (unless I can get out of work early; kind of unlikely though). I pay sort of vague attention to the polls, but they do not influence my vote at all.
