    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    3 year old hair loss

I will be calling dr on Monday, but I just found this tonight and just seeking answers for over the weekend. I was running my hand through my 3 year old sons head and felt a clump of something. I figured it was food so I went to pull it out. Instead it pulled out a clump of hair (think like 10 to 20 stands that we're all stuck together.). There were more clumps of stuff, best way to describe the clumps is like cradle cap stuff. The hair would easily come out with each clump. His dad has discoid lupus and will get bald patches, but no dandruff/cradle cap type stuff. Any thoughts or suggestions to get me through the weekend would be appreciated!
