I have a just about 3 year old daughter and was wondering if it's safe to make sunny side up eggs for her? I always cover the egg but the yolk portion doesn't seem thoroughly cooked enough for me. Only asking because I've tried giving her over easy, scrambled, egg whites and she just won't eat them like she will a sunny side up one.
When I fry bacon then my eggs in the grease, I spoon the bacon grease on top of the eggs so my sunny side ups get the heat from the bacon grease. When I cook a little cleaner, that is with a light spray of Pam in the pan, I cook low and slow and the eggs set pretty well. I know what you mean though, even turning them for just a short while helps set the flip side. If you don't flip, just cook low and slow.
