21/2 year old vagina looks ripped open..

My wife just informed me that our daughter's vagina hole looks like it was ripped open. I tried googling this and all that comes p is about a Labial Adhesions. is this what it is? I know that kids can tend to get curious about their own bodies and I am wondering if this is what it is or if something else happend. please let me know..

Is she bleeding or complaining of pain down there? Have you ever noticed how it looked before? If this is a new look, I would have her checked out by the pedi.
