    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? im worried about red bumps on my son.
    ryansmomnmama posted:
I'm worried about my 3 year old son randomly acquiring big red bumps all over his body, but mainly on his arms and legs. He itches them and sometimes calls them painful. I had thought they were just mosquito bites but he has been staying inside for a couple days now and he is still getting them. Ryan's doctor did say that they were mosquito bites but I'm looking for more suggestions, especially since the same doctor suggested surgery for a minor ear infection that ryan had. (We are in the process of switchinig doctors now after that.) Please help! We live in Clearwater, Florida if that makes any difference.

Do you have pets? Could be fleas or bedbugs. Google search those and see if the bumps look like what he is getting. Neither are anything to be embarrassed about and are common.

Yea i was thinking bedbugs too. We had them when I was pregnant with my oldest DD. It sucked but that's what it sounds like.
