I am totally clueless this year. DS hasnt offered up many ideas either, basically because he wants everything! LOL.
Normally I have an idea of a few gifts.
I did find some Bakugans on sale for $2 or $3 a piece. DS is still into playing with them. So I picked up some of those and also some clothes from an Old Navy sale.
I know I want to get him some more craft supplies, he loves to write his own books. And the game Hedbandz.
Any ideas on what you are getting your DCs?
I know 5 is kind of old but we are getting them a power wheel also. We never had a yard before so I am really excited about it. The baby is only 2 so it will def get a few years worth of use.
My 5 year old isn't into Star Wars or Bakugan or anything like that....so I need suggestions too! His birthday is Dec 7 plus Christmas....he needs some big boy toys....can't wait to hear what everyone else is getting!
I have seen them, but have no idea, exactly what they are.
I need ideas bc I dont want a repeat of last year.
DS wanted a Pixo set, got it and he never plays with it. It takes too long to get the beads in a shape and then you have to wait for them to dry. PITA if you ask me.
Got him a Kinext set that has a motor and it was really cool, however that is not my fortay and I could never figure out how to put it together and make it work right. I tried to just leave it all in the box, so he could take it to his dad's and they could put it together, but that never happened and the pieces are all over the place. LOL.
Oh and the Real Construction set. He did play with that, but we never actually built anything. Again, not my fortay. We just tore up the "wood" pieces and drew on them.
I felt like I wasted a ton of money last year. LOL. And the dang Super Mario Bros pjs that my mom told me were going to be too small, but I was no, I got this, I know his size. Well, I washed them twice and they shrank. LOL.
I so need to do better this year.

This year DS wants a Imaginext space shuttle. Or what about hot wheels tracks? Or are his friends into bey blades?
Mrs. Clause will be brining them each 5 new outfits.
Dad is getting the boys a nerf gun. I'm still not sold on that so I may change my SO's mind yet.
I'm getting the younger boyss Lincoln Logs and Jacob is getting Lego's and everyone is getting a pillow pet.
For their stockings they will be getting some small hand tools. The real thing not the toy ones. They like to "help" so we have decided that it is time for them to start their tool boxes. For stockings I also get them a 20 oz bottle of their favorite drink, shampoo, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste and deodarnt and some hot wheels.
The last few years the boys only wanted hot wheels for Christmas.
We are scaling back this year. I may pick up a few other little things but I have found most things are forgotten a few weeks after Christmas.
Danielle wants a set that is Cinderella and Prince Charming, she's adamant that she get the one that also has the prince. She's also recently interested in My Little Pony and Hello Kitty
Their combo Santa gift I already bought, it's a backyard safari pack with binoculars (I already had bought a 2nd pair for a prize but will now save them for Christmas) a little lantern, a shelter tent thing (open on one side) and a camo cover for the shelter. They are both super nature/science kids, so I think they will really enjoy it.
DS is just over one so he's going to get a learning computer and a couple of Weebles to go with his play set. Not much really.
We've asked the families to rein themselves in this year because the kids were overwhelmed last year- but I doubt if my sister and MIL will listen!
