I'm back at work after 4 days off and am getting sicker by the minute - might have to take a sick day. I just hope this is a cold, not the flu!

My 3 year old is back at school - the 7 year old has another week off (thanks Los Angelels educational budget cuts) My DH is taking this week off to keep her busy while I work.

The best gift I got was footie pj's from DH. (not sexy but so comf) I'm wearing them now to try and keep my teeth from chattering!

DS had his first day back to Kindergarten today, DD is at preschool. took my Dad to the airport this morning, DH is off work till tomorrow. I had two three day weekends in a row along with a three day workweek last week. This will be my first five day work week in two weeks.

DS doesn't go back to school until next week but he still has speech and occupational therapy twice a week. Both kids are with grandma for today and tomorrow.

Checking in...we've had some guys in the house the last two days doing repairs from the water damage we sustained in June. We've been putting off most expenditures until we have the cash on hand to pay for them - so it took awhile! Glad to be done looking at exposed wood beams and sub-flooring. And glad that everyone is finally out of my house and I can just enjoy my little boy and my boring mommy routine again.

OK - late response...yesterday DS started back at Kindergarten. Today DD went back to preschool. I am so glad to be back to the normal routine. Today I went out to lunch with some fellow Moms - celebrating the end of the holidays.
