Levi and I went there last night for the first time. I had promised to take him while DH was in China and last night was my last chance to make good on that promise. It is just a few blocks from the apartment we are living in right now. Of course, he loved it. I could live with never darkening its doorway again. He got some seizure inducing cup (flashing colorful lights) with his ginger ale. The food was passable but clearly you don't come for the food, you come for the spectacle. He wants to bring DH there. I think it should be a boys night out thing.

We went when we were at Disneyland last summer! It is quite an experience....the gorilla by the bathrooms was a big favorite so both girls had an urgent need to go several times.

Entering and exiting through the gift shop was challenging...

There were a bunch of them on Long Island quite a few years ago but I think they closed all of them. I have never been to them but I def did always want to.

Not really close to us. Minnesota is closest and I have actually been there. They are a bit crazy.
I am certain the boys would love it .

I was worried about the gift shop as well. Fortunately, Levi was distracted by his seizure inducing cup and the animated crocodile in the waterfall at near the entryway.
Haylen_WebMD_Staff replied to iocasta's response:
LOL...I know that cup....

I had been to one a few times when we lived in NJ ( before my own kids but with neices/nephews). We took Ryder for his 4th bday dinner. He loved it, I think we might have gotten something from the gift shop but I can't remember. I agree about the food, wasn't that great and fairly expensive but it's more of the atmosphere experience.

I'm sure I have another trip in my future with both kids.
VicsEandJ replied to laney0705's response:
I've never heard of it, but it sounds liek something the kids and I would enjoy- Dh I'm not too sure about.

I know the one in Mall of America is closing or has closed. Maybe lots of people feel the same as you Steph!

Carrie - your little guy in a bow tie is too cute!

My husband reminded me that the prices were waaaay high for the quality of the food...Here's a link to a site where you can see what it's about:
