We're going to protect it and keep an eye on it but no fractures or any other thing that concerns the doctor. She's a trooper! Her big smile is because I told her she could pick something out of her Easter Basket. I'm going to pick a Cadburry egg

Poor little sweetie! I didn't see your other post yesterday to reply in time, but I think it's good that your DH has been talked out of the trampoline. Somehow, it seems like a bounce house type thing would be safer - I don't think you get quite as much air time... we went to a birthday party last month and there were a bunch of kids playing on a trampoline. They were playing a game called "crack the egg" where there were 2 kids laying in the middle, and the other kids were jumping, trying to bounce the eggs. It freaked me out so much that I wouldn't let DS go in the trampoline.

I'm really glad your DD doesn't have any breaks!

"Crack the egg" sounds too close to "crack your head!".

Since this happened, I've heard many trampoline stories - yesterday a mom told me that her 220 pound husband came down on her 5 year old and broke her leg! I got all queasy hearing that...

DD already refusing to wear the sling....

I'm glad it isn't broken. No fun going into summer with a cast on.

About two months ago now Jacob hurt his ankle. They put him in an air cast. It lasted all of 2 days before he refused to wear it.

Good Luck getting her to wear the sling!!

I've never heard of an "air cast!". Will have to google.

The doc said "don't force it" and the sling is already history. (she calls it a "slink") She went to school with the brace on but I'm guessing it will be off when I pick her up.

What a cutie! She doesn't look at all traumatized by her experience.
I'd probably veto a trampoline!
