I got a call from the school nurse that Levi wasn't feeling good, is tired, and wanted to go home. He is running a very low grade fever not enough to make him go home. He is now complaining about his throat. His lower right 6 year molar is cutting through causing him some pain. I guess he and I have started the long weekend early. Of course, it isn't like I don't have a ton to do at the office. At least, I can work on a few things at home but it does cause me some stress. I hate being out of the office so much but I have to remind myself this is why I'm PT at 50%. Deep breathes, I will get it all done. DH offered to stay at home with him but DH really needs to be at the office. Sometimes I think it would be easier to be a SAHM not try to do this juggle but I'm not cut out to be a SAHM.

Oh Bummer. Poor kiddo and mama! My Motto: somehow it all gets done.
Yes that is why I am terrified of what is ahead for me...full time working solo mama. Not sure how to juggle it all but I know I will. In some ways I am looking forward to being back in the work force as well. This will be my last summer without working so I am going to enjoy it !
Hang in there and hope he isn't catching strep that was going around. .UGH

I'm sorry Steph. I know what you mean. I've been juggling so much with school programs, half days, etc. that I feel like my job is getting the shaft...my boss (the priest) has of course not a thing about it. But we are our own worst critics some time.

Hang in there! I hope Levi feels better and can ENJOY the holiday.

Steph,

I'm sorry that Levi still isn't feeling well. Hopefully it's not strep.

There are never enough hours in the day to get everything done if you have kids, whether or not you work or have help, it's alwys hard to fit inthe unexpectd when our schedules are already jam packed. But it will all get done, somehow!

Hang in there and give Levi lots of hugs ad kises, but not so many that you catch his cooties!
