They Continue to Amaze Me

This weekend we had a family reunion. There was a pond there with diving board and slide. The pond was built as a swimming pond. No wading in just a straight 25' drop off. We had really thought that our older 2 would be the first to take to the new experience. They are almost fearless in a pool. It was Cris who took to it first. He won't even get in a pool if anybody is splashing. He was jumping off the diving board and going down the slide by himself. Colby finally warmed up to it. It was amazing see how the younger 2 took to something but their older siblings wouldn't even try it. Cris and Colby want to go again soon. They even wore their life jackets without a fuss. As we were leaving they wanted to know if they could try the zip line. Maybe next time.

What have your LO's done lately that continue to amaze you?

Isn't it funny how the little ones seem so fearless?

My 3 year old is trying to read. She knows all the letters and sounds and has started putting them together by herself. It's so cute!
