    Have fun at Zumba!

I did the spinning class this morning. It was pretty awesome. Why, though, do the bike seats have to be so uncomfortable? Is it so you want to stand up and work harder?

Just got back !!! totally fun class! I loved every minute of it and really didn't feel ackward at all. Does that mean I still have some dance moves? LOL They have family zumba before this one. I bet the boys would love to go with me. I think they have family zumba on Sunday night too. :Hmmm.. might be nice to get in a workout on Sunday night and have family time too!

Sandra - that's funny, I was thinking of doing family Zumba with the girl the other day. The Y gave us a three-month "hold" on our membership when DH lost his contract and the hold just came off so we are members again, unless we choose to cancel completely. We have decided to keep the Y membership and continue to "hold" the direct TV contract as long as we can - I think we have another month or two to decide on that.

I'm glad you like the Zumba, my friend Heather is a total Zumba fan but I've never tried it. Maybe I will, with or without the girl. I just have to get organized enough to get there...

It is a blast ! It didn't feel like I was exercising but I did feel it the next day.
Step today totally felt like I was exercising and I struggled..Just an off day though.
I think the boys would love it so I may try that earlier one on Tuesday night. For family. It is family yoga on Sundays. Not sure the boys would like it!
They have it on Friday mornings at another Y. I think I may venture over there tommorow morning. or spinning at our Y.

You are brave for trying the spinning! I have not gone there yet. My Y is not offering my favorite pilates class anymore, I hope that is just for the summer and not forever. They have some pilates/yoga fusion thing but I tried that one and really did not like it - too slow for my taste. I do like the step classes but they offer a few different varieties, one was stepCOMBO which is like step and calisthenics - did not like that one. (really, who wants to climb on a step for 20 minutes and then do jumping jacks and push-ups before starting all over?) But another one called BODY step was a blast.

I dd not make the spinning class.. I was so sore from power step yesterday. they really increased the intensity for power step and it is tough. Really sore today so I did the eliptical and weights today...

My running programs say to take a day off between workouts when you really push it - I have learned this is sage advice, when I follow it. Sore is a great way to feel and a lousy way to feel, isn't it!
