Getting Cable

DH and I have said we would never get cable tv. Well guess what. Yep, for the first time in my nearly 49 years I will be getting cable. We are getting it because of the Olympics. We want Levi to be able to watch the swimming competitions and the only way for us to do this, short of going to a hotel (which we considered) is to get cable. Good news is because it is through our internet provider, we don't need a contract and can cancel at anytime. So we will watch the Olympics and then cancel. A lot cheaper than camping out at a hotel.

haha, Steph - that's what Stephen wants to watch too! He LOVED watching the qualifiers, and now wants to swim the butterfly - which is great in theory, but his swim class is still working on freestyle... I love the Olympics!

Levi is way into doing vertical dolphins kicks after seeing a You Tube video of Michael Phelps doing this drill to improve his dolphin kick.

Did you also order the DVR option so you could let him watch over and over?

I left B and the kids this morning watching the British Open on the Golf Channel. William LOVES the Golf Channel almost as much as his father.

I am super excited for the Olympics this year. I think it's because I know my children are going to love it!

No because we will cancel as soon as the Olympics are over.
