Hope everyone had a nice weekend. We did not do much this weekend which was welcomed ! The boys went to the Y for parents night out and Saturday and I came home and cleaned for 4 hrs! Crazy huh?
This starts our last week of summer vacation. Most other schools in the area start Tuesday this week. I cannot believe how fast summer has went. We had fun but today I can tell it is time to go back to school. They are getting bored. I will try to get in some fun activities this week before we go back. With our finale at the Amazing Pizza Machine (chunk e cheese type place on steroids...Haha! Seems to be our traditional end of summer celebration now!
We meet the teachers on Thurs and hopefully will have our supply list! I haven't gotten them yet.
So I am off to turbo kick this morning ... I went to step on Saturday after a week off.. Survived. But now all the bad food I ate this past week needs to be burned off !LOL
Have a great week all !

Good morning!

4 hour cleaning spree is crazy - please tell me the brand of coffee you are drinking...I need some of that focus and energy right now.

I had to google that pizza place - your description is accurate - the boys must go crazy there!

POSS TRIGGS - My 90 year old father-in-law had a stroke over the weekend - he's recovering in the hospital & it appears that his speech has been mildly affected. "It could have been worse" seems to be the overriding diagnosis & we are trying to stay positive. DH is having a rough time - scared & feeling guilty that he has not spent enough time with him lately. We're going to make visiting the in-laws a priority now.

I wasn't able to run all the errands needed for my 7 year old so tonight I'll be hitting Target hard. DD starts 2nd grade tomorrow during the worst SoCal heat wave of the summer. Bummer for the kids and teachers.

Morning all!

We had a nice, quiet weekend. It had been awhile. My allergies were kicking in pretty bad, so I spent most of the time on the couch, with Kleenex nearby. I hate how allergy meds make me feel!

The girls had a good time. The weather was pretty nice, so they got to enjoy some outside fun riding bikes and playing on the swing set.

We go to a Meet and Greet this afternoon at school, and tomorrow is our official first day. Boo hoo!

We started out as having nothing planned for this weekend. Some how I ended up doing alot.

Saturday I ended up going and getting a massage. It was wonderful. I wish I would have tried one sooner. I hadn't planned on it after last weekend. My SO had arrangements for the kids and I got 4 hours to myself. Can't remember the last time that happened. I also got my hair washed. I love having someone else wash my hair.

Saturday afternoon the kids wanted to take my dad to the zoo. He hadn't been in years. They all had a blast. Sunday I got the grocery shopping done.

We go back to school Wednesday except for Colby who starts next Monday. The kids are ready. The parents are ready. In another few weeks I will be hating all the homework but we are ready for the routine to be back.

We had a good weekend. Got some rain we needed. I got some cleaning done. And had some kid free time yesterday. I shopped online, got some exercising in and scrubbed the shower(which I hate).

We meet our kindergarten teacher next Wednesday. It is going way too fast!!
