    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

Keep an eye here and on your email inbox, we'll be back in touch soon to give you all the information you need!

    Yours in health,

    West Nile Interviews
    Haylen_WebMD_Staff posted:
Do you know someone in Texas or elsewhere who is currently battling West Nile or has a family member who is? As we expand our coverage of the West Nile outbreak, WebMD would like to interview some of our members for first-person accounts on the disease.

If you know someone who might like to be interviewed or have information to share, please email us at and put "West Nile" in the subject line.

    Thank you!

Thankfully I do not know someone....however, my sister went to highschool with a guy whose nephew is in a coma from it. He suffers from encephylitis (sp?). It breaks my heart....7 years old We all have so many bites on us and my husband sprays the bushes every weekend (which probably is harmful since they are chemicals) but it is so freaking scary!

Well, I suppose that is one good thing about this drought. I heard on the news that West Nile shouldn't be as bad around here because there isn't much water.
