Are my 2 the only ones that have yet to master the skill of using toothpaste????

I find toothpaste E.V.E.R.Y.W.H.E.R.E. In their hair, in the sink, on the mirror, on the towel, all over their face, in the drawer, all over the tube..... Seriously, it's like they try to get it all over.

How do you teach them? I have done the "just a dot, not a lot," but nothing has worked so far.

Honestly, I do it for him still. I never even thought to not do it. I guess it has just become such a normal thing. However, my husband gets toothpaste everywhere and he leaves the cap open....gross!

We just started my almost 3 year old on big kid toothpaste last night. I put barely any on and he did great with the spitting!

I have the same issue but I still have them do it. I bought a pump one which seemed to work better for them and a bit less mess.

I still do it too as well as go over their teeth after they have brushed. I am so afraid of them getting a cavity.
