My 7 year old started 2nd grade in August and my 4 year old started a new Pre-K program. They are both getting taller and I haven't noticed any change in eating habits or weight.

I strongly urge you to call your pediatrician. Unexplained weight loss could be an indicator of a variety of health issues.

Does your child eat lunch at the school or bring a lunch packed from home? There might be something there to explore but a doctor's appointment should be your priority.

Please come back and let us know what you discover!
