What is your weather? Absolutely beautiful but still too hot! Was over 90 in the San Fernando Valley earlier this week. Looking forward to rain over the weekend.
How is the week going for you and your kids? So far, so good. We're on top of homework, laundry and groceries. DD and I are swamped at work but able to leave it at the office. (not always the case)
Any fun weekend plans? One of my close friends is turning 50. She's having a party at a hotel on the beach in Santa Monica. I'm looking forward to it but with babysitter, parking and gift, it's going to be more expensive than I would like. 7 year old has her first drop off roller skating party!
Biggest challenge at home/work or with the kids/SO? DD's father is gravely ill and there is conflict between the kids and their mom. They want him home in hospice care, she is pushing back and not communicating. Very stressful for DD
Who is next?

How is the week going for you and your kids? Pretty well. Not quite as busy as the last few weeks which is nice
Any fun weekend plans? Henry has 1st reconciliation(confession) we are Catholic. So it is a nice celebration type thing.
Biggest challenge at home/work or with the kids/ Just trying to get the house stuff done. I get off at 1:30 every day eat lunch then I do not want to do anything!

How is the week going for you and your kids? Pretty good. DS has been at grandma's since yesterday and comes home today. Unfortunately, DH is off at least two days this week and if he's off, he doesn't get paid.
Any fun weekend plans? DD's birthday is Sunday and we're having her party Saturday. She'll have her annual pics taken Sunday and then ice skating either Sunday afternoon or Monday since it's a holiday for me.
Biggest challenge at home/work or with the kids/SO? Finishing potty training DS. He's had the pee part down since September but not the poop and continues to poop in his pull-up or underwear.
How is the week going for you and your kids? We are staying at my dads house where my neice and nephew also live. We are having a good time. DS1 started school again today so I am happy he got to be with friends after having an unexpected week and a half off.
Any fun weekend plans? Hopefully we will have power but if not, we will be hanging out at my dads still lol. We have a birthday party Sunday which should be fun and I am hoping to get DS2's annual birthday pics done on Saturday.
Biggest challenge at home/work or with the kids/SO? Being displaced! LOL!
How is the week going for you and your kids? The week is going well for the "bigs". Soccer season is over so DS had an extra free evening and weekend day to play golf with DH. DD1 is finding her homeowork/studying more manageable and the weather has been perfect for tennis. DD2 is fighting a cold and is missing some of her activities so she's grumpy and under exercised. She did however perfect her backbend kickover while stuck at home yesterday and is over the moon with excitement.
Any fun weekend plans? DH and I get to be the "mystery readers" in DS's class on Friday and we have a date night planned as well. Saturday we have tee-ball and a birthday party for DS to go to. Sunday DD1 has a party to go to and the boys will go out for a cub scout meeting/activity while the little one and I get mani/pedi's.
Biggest challenge at home/work or with the kids/SO? I'd have to say DD2 being under the weather. I rarely have sick kids so it's tough on all of us. I also worry it will spread through the house and hit me right around Thanksgiving.
What is your weather? Our weather is great, DD came in last night after dinner and said it was cold out, when I looked the thermometer said 62 lol. So I guess we are growing thin skin after all of the 100 degree days.
How is the week going for you and your kids? DH is out of town all week (he's in your town, Locasta) so it has been really interesting around here. Last night I could not get DS to sit and eat dinner (he's like a jumping bean) so I just put the plate on the floor next to his trucks and he polished it all off while he played. Pretty bad, but at least I got him fed.
Fun weekend plans? No, just hanging out with daddy. We have one more soccer game and that's all that's on the menu.
Biggest challenge? Recovering from the time change. My DS basically wakes up in the morning, hops off the end of the bed and starts running up and down the hall. He used to do this at 6:10am, like clockwork. This week it has been 5:10am. I think he secretly wants to kill me sometimes.
Fingers and toes crossed that your power comes back -
Haylen
How is the week going for you and your kids? Been a crazy week with the weather. DS has been a little cranky (I think he's still adjusting to the time change). But we had some fun last Monday at the Aquarium.
Any fun weekend plans? The annual grandkids photo for my Mom. 3 families, 4 children. Wish us luck. It's always an adventure.
Biggest challenge at home/work or with the kids/SO? Biggest challenge this week has been the commutes!
What is your weather? 40 & cloudy
How is the week going for you and your kids? was going good until DD wanted to wear a dress with tights & bad mommy does not have any for this year, yet. so we found some that fit but for some reason one leg had to twist for her toes to be in right. So commence meltdown about the tights, then didn't want the black pants under dress- too tight, she picked black pants with candy corns on them with a purple dress. then meltdown about shoes, coat & how backpack fit & on & on...I was so glad they were going to school.
Any fun weekend plans? not really. supposed to be nice so we are cleaning up outside & getting ready for winter
Biggest challenge at home/work or with the kids/SO?
getting them to bed on time to get enough sleep, them remembering to bring their hats home from school

How is the week going for you and your kids? Going good. No complaints, everyone is happy&healthy.
Any fun weekend plans? Tonight is a function at my friends church. Sat. is a soccer game. Sun. is a party for DS friend.
Biggest challenge at home/work or with the kids/SO? Need to get more homework done on the weekend b/c with soccer practice 2 nights a week we wind up rushing and spending lots of time on homework Thursday night.
