    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? I could barely breathe after reading the news articles. I just want to go and pick up Levi from school. I realize that is totally irrational but this shooting was totally irrational. Why kill a bunch of Kindergarteners? I just can't wrap my head around this. My heart and thoughts go out to all of the affected families. How can those poor children ever be able to go back to school and feel safe?

    It is beyond belief.

It's all I can do to keep from vomiting.

I seriously do not think I could survive such a tragedy.

Parents do all that they can to keep their babies safe and then something like this at one of the supposedly safest places for them.

I was a wreck. I read it at work. So I went to my coworkers who were in there trying to decide if they were going to tell me. Yes I started crying. Working at a church we stopped and prayed.

No words. It is absolutely horrible. I too wanted to run and go get the boys. I had plans to get my Christmas shopping done and had them go to kids club. I almost cancelled and went to get them but it was irrational. I did go through with my plans.

I found out about it at work too and it took everything I had to stay at work instead of leaving to pick up my two girls from daycare. All weekend I have felt sick to my stomach, bawled while watching news reports, and hugged my girls more than ever.

Normally DH takes them to daycare in the morning but I have a doctor's appt this afternoon, so we switched drop off and pick up duties. Not a good idea for momma to leave her precious children on the first day back after this horrible shooting. I was crying in my car on the way to work.

So much praying for this community this weekend and for peace and safety for my family. God is busy this weekend from all the prayers!
