I am sure everyone is running around busy. I stayed up until 1 am and up at 6am today. I finished wrapping last night finally, started getting the cleaning done.
Family will be here this evening. So I put beef stew in the crock pot and am finishing up the cleaning and doing some baking.
Yes feel like my head is spinning ! Yikes! (and it is my own fault for procrastinating ! The blizzard /no electricity threw me off schedule although I did get some things done!
Enjoy the holidays all. I am looking forward to it and the boys are super excited!

How fun to have family coming! We are just the four of us hanging around. I suggested DH do some Lego projects with DD and he was surprised to find she enjoyed the building together (don't know why that surprised him) so he is going to Target to get some kits that the two can do together. We are at the beginning of boot camp potty training for DS so I've been doing a lot of laundry but he is getting the hang of it. I was up late last night making big blueberry waffles to freeze for breakfast this week - much cheaper than buying boxes at the store and I make them so much healthier too. The electricity thing must have been nerve-wracking - I'm glad things are back on and warm for you guys. Have a good holiday!!

We've had a crazy day! The girls and I were supposed to meet DH and DS up at the cabin for a weekend of skiing before Christmas but the storm beat us to the pass and we had to turn around and come back when they closed the i80. We decided instead to spend the rest of the day wrapping gifts and listening to music and planned an impromtu "girls" dinner party and invited my mom and a girlfriend with 2 DD's.

DS is bummed but now has the sole responsibility of checking in with Santa at our Ski Lodge's holiday party where the Big Guy himself and Mrs. Claus are expected to be for dinner. Luckily DH and DS get to enjoy several feet of fresh powder tomorrow...

    Happy Holidays!!

I took my DD's to go get stocking stuffers. I completly forgot them. It was crazy out there. Finished wrapping everything.

We are staying at home the rest of the weekend. My dad will come over on Christmas. Tomorrow the kids and I are making cookies for Santa. Monday we are watching all the Christmas movies. Just a relaxing time at home.

Deb..I'm wasn't brave enough to start potty training right now. When the kids go back to school DD will be starting potty training boot camp. Good Luck!!!

Yeah, I had to start during the break because DS goes to speech therapy 2 days a week through the district and I didn't want to involve the therapists too much if I didn't have to. Also I know he is more than ready he just needs a parent on top of him to get the whole thing going. So far he is doing extremely well, so overall it has not been too painful. But I have spent a ton of time between the bathroom and the laundry room over the last three days!

We have been staying around the house, obviously. DH actually broke out with the Chicken Pox on Thursday, too. So the three of them are in quarantine. I have gotten SO MUCH done around the house.

Deb -- The girls are really into legos now, too. MIL bought them a bucket of the pink legos and one of the Lego Friends sets. They are having a blast with them.
