Talk about twisting the knife
iocasta posted:
I got a call from Levi's best friend's mom (also a good friend of mine) telling me about her missing the Arctic Animal museum event this morning because of a conference call and having to take the cat to the vet. She completely forgot about it. She realized it later on in the day and sent their teacher an email. The teacher suggested that she come in at the end of the day for a private tour. The kids were at an extra recess when she got there. At first, E (the best friend) didn't notice her and when he did, he told her how sad he was that she missed it. Of course, she felt awful. Levi just twisted the knife because he came up to her and told how down-hearted and sad E was because she didn't come. A second friend joined the chorus. Poor E's mom. We laughed and I said at least E has some good friends that were watching his back.
