Parent teacher conference
iocasta posted:
We had ours yesterday. We meet with his teacher, his art teacher and his French teacher. He is doing well academically. His reading and math skills are securely at the fourth grade level verging into fifth grade level work. His writing skills are pretty much at fourth grade level except for handwriting and spelling. Spelling is more in line with second and third grade level. He is doing great in art and in French. The thing we heard from all of his teacher is that he has to move and can be a little irreverent and silly. Not enough to be a problem but noticeable. Hopefully with the better weather he can get some of his antsiness out. As is it he swims hard five days a week, so we are pretty much maxed out there. DH likes the fact that he is a little irreverent because DH is and it serves him well. Nevertheless, he needs to be made aware of his behavior.

Well we are off to Scottsdale to enjoy some sun. For those that celebrate Easter, Happy Easter. And for those in the midst of Passover, enjoy as it were.
