Rain!!

iocasta posted:
We have had 5 inches since yesterday afternoon and it is still coming down in buckets. Several major highways are closed in sections just in time for morning rush hour. I had to take the boy to school because DH has an early morning teleconference with his people in China. I got lucky and got a cab after dropping Levi off. Luckily, I'm working from home today.

I am on the southern end of that storm. It really poured last night - kept me up half the night - and the winds were out of control. Luckily my windows held and there were no major puddles in the house this morning.

Lots of rain predicted here, too. We were under a tornado watch (or warning, I forget the difference) last night, and I think we will be tonight, too.

It must be pretty bad where you are to close highways. Stay dry!

Yes lots of rain. We do need the moisture. Today it was actually snowing. Melted right away but still . It has been a dreary and cold spring thus far.
Stay safe everyone.

Oh wow! We have sunshine this morning! The first time in a couple weeks. We also have the school carnival tonight. Maybe the bouncy houses can actually go outside
Hope everyone is doing okay with this weather.
