Last Day!

Yay! Last day of school!

Yesterday was bittersweet. I realized it was the last day Elizabeth and I had together, just us. I wanted to cry almost as badly as her first day of Kindergarten.

Today, I'm just excited for Summer vacation to start! I asked them what they wanted to do this afternoon (they only have a half day today). Emily said she just wanted to lay around on her bed this afternoon. If that doesn't prove she is growing up, I don't know what would!!!!!!

OMG that is too cute! I just want to lay around on my bed this afternoon too lol! I bet it was kinda sad yesterday. But happy last day of school. Even though we are long out of school ourselves it is still exciting to live that "first day of summer" vibe through our kids.

Truly bittersweet. Today is Levi's last day of 1st grade. He had an absolutely wonderful 1st grade teacher and assistant teacher this year. I'm a little sad and weepy today. They are just getting so big.

Today is the last day of 1st and 2nd grade. Both boys had great teachers (even though style was completely opposite
Last year since we were in such a horrible environment it was a huge sense of relief and excitement for summer together.
This year I am like it was great and honestly I am sad to see it end. Also an adjustment as Mommy is working this summer and they are going to summer school. It is a different feeling. I am feeling all over the place with emotions. The boys too as summer vacation means something different this year. They are growing so fast. But I am so proud of them for all they accomplished this year! They really have done great and we had a nice year.
