Summer update

Hope everyone is doing well ! Everyone out of school?

The boys are into their 2nd week of summer school. It is going well. They make it fun. They have zumba on tues/thurs and special visitors like storytellers, authors and fireman! They are pretty tired when they are done! They are learning and expanding!
After June is over we are back to the Y for summer camp.
Have to admit we are all adjusting to Mom not being at home with them in the summer. Henry is having kind of a hard time with it. We are working through it though and I know they are learning.
I am off to a work retreat today. Not really feeling like going but I am sure it will be good. Happens to be way out in the country. This now city girl is not excited about driving on gravel roads!
So how is the summer going? Hope everyone is doing well !

DS is still in school until tomorrow. He'll be out of school for about two week before summer school starts July 1. After that, he'll be in daycare twice a week until school starts September 3.

DD's school is sort of a combination preschool/daycare so it's year round.

We spent a week and a half in the UK. Edinburgh was cool and drizzly but lovely. We had picture perfect weather in London. Took Levi to see Matilda. He loved it. Summer camp started this week. He'll be there for eight weeks. This weekend he is doing his first USA swim meet. It will be interesting to see how he does. It will by in an Olympic size pool. He has only swam in 25 yd pools so that will be interesting for him. We will be in the stands and won't be able to talk with him until after the meet that will be nerve racking for me. On Saturday, he swims 50 m free, 50 m fly and 50m back. On Sunday, 50 m breast and 100 m free. I just hope he enjoys it and has a good time.
