Swim meet results (warning shameless mommy bragging)
iocasta posted:
Levi did super this weekend. He absolutely loved racing and asked when the next meet was. On the 50m Fly he came in 2nd out if 29 boys. His time for the Fly was just south of 5 seconds off the needed regional time for 10 and under. He came in 8th out 30 boys in the 50m Free, 5th out of 29 boys for the 50m Back and 3rd out 29 boys for the 50m Breast. He technically came in 3rd in the 100m Free but was disqualified for allegedly not hitting the wall on his flip turn. What happen was his goggles weren't seated right and filled with water so he couldn't see. When he got to the wall he couldn't judge the distance. He says he hit the wall with his toes and from our view it looked like he did plus he clearly got some thrust from his turn but such is life. I was so proud that he soldiered through the race with his googles as they were and didn't get upset about it or being DQ'd.
