    DD complains of stomach ache

For a few months now, off and on DD has been complaining of a stomach ache after we put her to bed. She doesn't complain during the day, just at bedtime so we've been thinking it was a stalling method. Everytime we just give her kisses and tell her to go back to bed. No more complaining until the next time (may be a few days later). Well this morning she was crying and complaining that her stomach hurt. DH thinks she was just tired and emotional (she was up about an hour later than normal and up early). I'm starting to question it. What would you do? I think I'm going to wait and see what her daycare says but we're leaving for vacation tomorrow, so I'm nervous about it actually being something.

Has she ever had a problem with GERD or heartburn? Can she point to exactly where it hurts?

I would see if it happened on vacation. That might help determine if it is something physical, or if it is emotional.

No GERD or heartburn before. The only thing I was thinking is maybe early onset lactose intolerace? My DH has that and so does his sister so it could be heritiary.

I called daycare and she hasn't complained, is acting/playing normally. Guess I'll wait and see how vacation goes.

We think she's doing it for attention or b/c she's not tired enough for bed. This week we pushed her bedtime back to 7:45-8:00 and she hasn't complained once about it. Hopefully that's all it was b/c on vacation she never complained either. She did tell me that pooping is hard, so we've tried to increase the fiber in her diet.
