I still go with the organic sunscreen....$22 a bottle....yikes but worth chemicals!

We use the Coppertone Sport on everyone but DD. She has extremely sensitive skin (and eczema) and the only one I can find that doesn't give her problems is by California Baby. It actually sits on top of her skin rather than being absorbed into it. It is kind of expensive at $17 a tube but one tube usually lasts us all summer.

We have always used natural, physical block sunscreens like Badger and/or Burts Bee. We found out the hard way while traveling in Mexico that DS is allergic to the chemicals in most sunscreens (a well meaning babysitter applied some Banana boat to him).

I pay about $16 a tube and we use it year long but it's well worth the slightly higher cost not to have his face, neck and chest swell up with welts.

I buy whatever is on sale!

A discount store near my job has 8 oz bottles of Coppertone or Banana boat kids, SPF 50- I think, honestly once I saw the price I didn't care what is was-here sunscreen is usually at least 10.99 a bottle!!!!

Thanks for the list. My kids are outside a lot. They went through so many botl of sunscreen last year!

I have a question- does anyone really use SPF 100- for what, trips to the Equator????
