    Exciting News for WebMD Members!

We've been busy behind the scenes building new message boards for you. You'll have new and easier ways to find messages, connect with others, and share your stories.

And, this will all be available on your smartphone or other mobile device!

What Do You Need to Do?

The message board you're used to will be closing in the coming weeks. While many of your boards will be making the move to our new home, your posts will not. Want to keep a discussion going? Save posts you want to continue (this includes your member profile story), so that you can re-post them in the new message boards.

    Baby Food

I just started my 6 month old on baby food on Saturday. We started carrots and she loves them. Anyway she also has been eating rice cereal for about a month along with her 7oz of formula. In a typical day since we started baby food we have been feeding her 7oz bottle of formula in the morning, rice cereal with 7oz bottle at lunch, 7oz bottle at midday and baby food (carrots) with 7oz bottle at night (around 8ish). I have no idea if I am feeling her correctly now that she has three different foods in a day. Is there a correct way of mixing in all those foods throughout the day. What is everyone else doing (those of you who are feeding baby food?) Thanks.

That sounds good to me. Of course she will let you know if she doesn't like it. For us I pretty much do the same except at night I will feed her food, then play and take a bath, then read a story and drink a bottle. I try to let the food settle some before the bottle. Good luck!
