I have a 9 month old son. I was told from my doctor that he should be napping 2-3 times during the day and sleeping through the night. When he was an infant we were told that he should be getting 15 hours of sleep a day. How many hours does he need per day now that he is 9 months?

My son (11mths) sleeps about 12 hours at night and naps 2 (1-2 hours) times a day. I think that's about normal.
