With the recent school shooting, it's making me question my son's behavior
    An_249480 posted:
My son is 9 years old, he is very smart, and outgoing, but has a terrible temper and bad attitude...For the most part he is good as long as it m-t and we are in our routine for the school week. As soon as Friday, Saturday, and Sunday hit all H3ll breaks loose. The slightest thing can set him off and our whole day is ruined including my younger sons. He says he hates me, I'm the problem, he wants to die, and he's going to kill me. He tries to leave our the house and wander the neighborhood when he is angry, and I am afraid something will happen to him or he will do something crazy. He don't care about anything once this mood comes, his intrests are video games, hunting, fishing, snakes, death, and guns. I try to keep him occupied, but one slip and I am now having to hold him down, keep him from scratching, hitting, or biting me. Once he realizes he can't over power me yet, he turns his anger towards his younger brother, who adores him. I don't know what to do and it has come to the point where I am afraid I never know what I will do wrong.

I would make an appointment with his pediatrician to discuss all of your concerns. It sounds like the sooner, the better, for all of you.

I have made him an appointment and I have also been doing alot of research of different diagnosis and symptoms that other children show. All is well though becuase it is the school he's a perfect angel for now. Thank you for your advice.
