Dr. Roy Benaroch Your Children's Health
Healthy Begins Here
She is home and feeling somewhat better now. She is still on breathing treatments and steroids. She has ran a constant low grade fever for the past 4 days. I wish I had know of RSV and I might have asked along time ago for her to be tested for it. I am not saying your child has it, but it is worth asking. Your story sounds so much like what we went through.
Good luck and I hope your little one gets to feeling better. God Bless!
She has been suffering from low grade fever for nearly 60 days now.
All the reports are normal and we can't seem to pin point the problem.
I would love to hear what happened in your case.
We recently got her thyroid tested which seems hi but have to run more tests.
She runs low grade fever in the evenings and is eating well and hearty
though she gets tired.

98.6 is an average-- some people will be higher, some lower. And normal body temperature varies throughout the day, with the highest measured temps in the late afternoon and evening. Many of us, if we measure our temperatures every day, will have a temperature over 100.4 in the late afternoon. That's normal.
Gaurav, you do need to tie up the loose end of that "seems hi" thyroid test. I suspect that's probably normal, too-- many labs have incorrect reference ranges for children on thyroid tests. Then, as long as your child is fine and thriving and happy and playing, please STOP taking her temperature.
