Hello,
I'm really hoping to get some insight, primarily from the board expert. One of my son's lymph nodes, under his jaw, has been swollen for over a year now. Constantly. His pediatrician did several mouth swabs, all the blood tests she could think of, and even an ultrasound. All of which came back with negative results. He is otherwise fine, and night sweats is the only other symptom I can think of that *may* be associated to the swelling. Any idea what could be causing it?
I'm getting increasingly frustrated, because the last time I spoke with his pedi was 3 weeks ago. The week before that she had sent his paperwork over to an infectious disease specialist. When I spoke to her 3 weeks ago, she said she was still waiting for them to make an appointment. I have called weekly, and even requested the specialists number, all to no eval.
TIA for any input.
