Too many ear problems

Anon_77389 posted:
My 3 1/2 yr old granddaughter has had one ear infection after another for the last 6 months. She had tbes put in her ears a month ago and one came out within the first week and the other tube was closed up from her ear healing and closing the tube off. The ENT said he had never seen a problem like this before. He reinserted the tubes, using titanium ones this time. Now after 2 weeks, her ear is inflamed again. No infection, but inflamed. What can be done for this poor child?

Take her back to the ENT. My daughter had tubes 3 times (came out once) and had infection after infection. This needs to be treated because the eardrum can be damaged if it isn't. The ENT thought he'd never see the back of us (lol).
