I SWEAR BY AQUAPHOR. IT SMOOTHES BABIES SKIN AS IF THEY NEVER HAD ECZEMA AND DOES NOT DRY UP LIKE VASELINE

Tried it on DD and it never helped. Dermatologist recommended Cetaphil but that only works when she doesn't have a flare up. Still battling getting her feet under control. Wish she didn't itch all the time.

We never had much luck with Aquaphor either - it seemed to cause redness and irritation. We did, however, get great results from Eucerin's calming body wash - it's an oil wash that lathers and rinses clean. It's made by the same company that makes Aquaphor, but doesn't have a couple of the same ingredients. I can't remember exactly what it's called, but there's an ingredient in Aquaphor that some people are highly sensitive to. We love the Eucerin body wash since it's so hard to find a body wash that doesn't strip the skin or leave an oily coating.

There is a lotion called Palmers that's for "ashy skin" (not to be un-PC but we are white folks) and it works AMAZINGLY on my kids skin. All 3 have eczema and I find that it really clears up or at least helps the medication to get rid of the flare ups.

Awww sorry to hear about eczema on the feet. That's unfair.
